Associate / Senior Architect | Architectural Practice | Oxford
The Company
Our client are an established architectural practice with multiple offices across the UK. Their project portfolio is diverse and includes civic buildings, hotels, residential schemes, commercial projects and public projects.
They are often trusted with some of the most prestigious projects in the UK and internationally due to their ability to understand the context of a building within it's local surroundings.
Due to continued success, our client are looking to strengthen their senior leadership team in Oxford and are looking to hire an Associate / Senior Architect.
The practice have secured 2 incredibly interesting, large commercial projects in the centre of Oxford which incorporate both new build and existing-building elements. The projects on adjacent sites require a good eye for design, an ability to deliver a cutting-edge modern building as well as a sense of the public realm, place making and contextual sensitivity.

The Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Senior Architect, Associate, Associate Director or similar
- An ability to lead packages/aspects of medium-large scale projects
- Understand the planning process
- Confident being in a client-facing role
- Interested in running and managing a small team (team of around 2-5 people)
- Experience of working with commercial developers (Preferred)
- Experience working on Oxford-based projects (Preferred)
