Senior Barista — 73 Hours café
The role
The 73 Hours café is the first thing guests encounter at 73 Walton. As senior barista, you are the welcome, the energy, and the craft behind a short, considered menu. Two baristas are on shift during peak to keep service smooth and to greet guests.
Working pattern
Zero-hour basis. Two to four shifts per week. Five days a week of operation.
What you bring
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain at your own cost before first shift).
- 2+ experience in a café, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Genuine warmth with guests and able to be fast paced.
- Reliability, punctuality, and care for cleanliness and a groomed look.
What you will do
- Prepare and serve drinks and menu items to recipes.
- Operate the till, take orders, and process payments.
- Maintain food hygiene, stock rotation, and bar cleanliness.
- Welcome guests arriving for the glam suite and direct them appropriately.
- Open or close the bar following the daily checklist.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and the wider 73 Hours team.
- Train junior baristas
Pre-launch training and Start Date
24 hours of paid training pre-opening at £13.10/hour net, covering menu execution, food hygiene, equipment handling, opening/closing, stock, and assistant bartender training. Opening date will be 15th of June.
Pay: £12.80-£13.10 per hour
