We're looking for an Events Assistant to join our small London team. We run events across a mix of campaigns and clients — brand launches, conferences, pop-ups, awards dinners — so the work is varied and the pace changes week to week.
This is a hands-on role and a good one if you're early in your events career and want to learn properly. You'll work closely with the wider team rather than off on your own, and we'll give you real responsibility as you find your feet.
What the role actually involves
- Building and updating run-of-show documents, schedules and delegate lists
- Booking couriers, suppliers and venues, and chasing the details that keep an event on track
- Managing registration and the guest desk on the day, and being a calm point of contact for attendees
- Handling supplier invoices, purchase orders and keeping budgets tidy
- Being on-site to help set up, run and pack down events (yes, that includes the unglamorous bits)
- Pitching in on client emails, research and general team admin
What we're hoping you'll bring
- You like working with people — clients, suppliers and colleagues alike
- A genuine interest in the events sector; some experience in events, hospitality or a customer-facing role helps, but attitude matters more
- Flexibility, since plans shift and event days rarely run 9–5
- Good organisation and attention to detail, and the sense to ask when you're unsure
- Clear, friendly communication in person and over email
What we offer
- A friendly team that will actually teach you the job
- A varied client list, so you won't be doing the same thing twice
- Flexible working around event schedules
If this sounds like you, send your CV!
We welcome applications from everyone. If you need any adjustments during the process, just let us know.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
