IT Support Engineer (1st/2nd Line) – Hybrid
£37,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Hybrid working – 4 days working from home, 1 day in the office. Offices are located across Putney, Wimbledon and Central London, with occasional travel between sites when required.

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT team supporting a busy and professional law firm. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working four days remotely with one day each week in the office, providing technical support to staff across multiple office locations.
You will be responsible for delivering first and second-line IT support, maintaining end-user devices, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with the ongoing management of the firm’s IT infrastructure. Requirements
- College Level 2 qualification in IT (or above).
- Strong interest in IT support and customer service.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Technical Skills
Experience with some or all of the following is desirable:
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Windows 10 & Windows 11 Support
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Intune (MDM)
- Laptop and Desktop Deployment
- Hardware & Software Installation and Configuration
- Microsoft Office Applications
- Printer and Peripheral Support
- Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi-Fi)
- Remote Support Tools
- Password Resets and User Account Administration
- Mobile Device Support (iOS & Android)
- Cyber Security best practices including MFA and endpoint protection
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT support to staff across multiple office locations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices for new starters.
- Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, permissions and licensing.
- Support remote users through remote access tools.
- Install, configure and maintain business applications.
- Escalate complex technical issues where necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update the IT service desk.
- Ensure excellent customer service while meeting service level agreements.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
9:00am – 5:30pm
Hybrid working:
