Responsibilities
- Preparing lite bites, sandwiches and snacks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with drink preparation and maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customers have a positive experience.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Keep the workspace tidy, organised, and fully stocked throughout shifts.
- Support team members as needed with general duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Cleaning down all areas and restocking at the days end.
Experience
- Previous food preparation is essential .
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with food preparation tasks will help in delivering efficient service.
- Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately.
