DCL Online Ltd is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our growing property maintenance team in London.
This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start available.
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of reactive and planned property maintenance works across residential properties in London. You will work with estate agents, property managers, landlords and tenants, so a professional approach, good communication and reliability are essential.
The role is primarily site based and will involve travelling between properties throughout London.
Typical duties will include:
Carpentry and general repairs
Painting and decorating
Basic plumbing
Tiling and grouting
Silicone and sealant works
Door, lock and ironmongery repairs
Kitchen and bathroom repairs
Minor plastering and making good
Flooring repairs and general maintenance
Property inspections
Producing quotations and identifying additional works required
Providing clear photographs, job notes and updates to the back office team
Completing works efficiently and to a good professional standard
Applicants should have substantial practical experience within property maintenance and be confident working across several trades.
You must:
Have strong hands on property maintenance experience
Be competent across several trades
Have your own suitable vehicle
Hold a full valid driving licence
Have your own core trade tools
Be willing to travel between jobs across London
Be reliable, punctual and well organised
Be comfortable working independently
Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords, estate agents and colleagues
Be comfortable using WhatsApp and mobile applications for job details, photographs and updates
Be able to assess maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions
Experience working for estate agents, property managers, maintenance companies or residential landlords would be particularly useful.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, with reasonable flexibility required depending on appointments and operational requirements.
Starting salary is £40,000 per annum.
Subject to satisfactory performance, salary will be reviewed after three months with progression to £42,500 per annum.
Following successful completion of probation and continued satisfactory performance, there is further progression to £45,000 per annum.
