Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences while maintaining operational feasibility
- Manage food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely delivery of dishes without compromising quality
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
- Train staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability without sacrificing quality
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse staff members
- Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on cooking and food service
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to organise, delegate, and oversee multiple tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach to service excellence
