Multi-Trader – Self-Employed or Employed
Location: Various sites across West Sussex

Preferred arrangement: Self-employed, although employed applicants will also be considered
Craig Construction Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Multi-Trader to join our team, working across a variety of construction, commercial and occupied domestic sites throughout West Sussex.
We are preferably looking for someone on a self-employed basis; however, we are happy to consider an employed position for the right person.
The role
The work will be varied and may include:
- Carpentry and general joinery
- Basic plumbing
- Plastering and making good
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling
- Brickwork and minor repairs
- General building and maintenance work
- Snagging and finishing works
You do not need to specialise in every trade. We are looking for someone with a strong core trade who can confidently turn their hand to most tasks, work independently and is not afraid to get stuck in when required.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in construction, maintenance or multi-trade work
- A valid CSCS card
- A full UK driving licence
- Own van and tools, particularly for self-employed applicants
- Good practical problem-solving skills
- A reliable, motivated and proactive attitude
- Good-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Professional and respectful when working in occupied properties
- Willingness to undertake a varied workload
- Flexibility to assist with occasional weekend work when required
Working hours
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Some flexibility may be required for occasional weekend work.
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with an immediate start available.
