About the role
As an Operations Executive, you'll be at the heart of bringing unforgettable holidays to life. From co-ordinating the logistics behind our tours and building relationships with suppliers across the globe, to supporting Tour Managers and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless travel experience, no two days are the same. You'll be a natural problem solver, confidently handling last minute changes and unexpected challenges while keeping customer experience front and centre. This is a fast paced, hands on role where you'll play a vital part in creating exceptional holiday experiences our guests will remember for years to come.
Key Responsibilities:
Holiday Operation

Own all logistics of holiday packages, prioritising guest experience.

Produce precise tour documentation for suppliers and Cruise Directors.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and Cruise Directors.

Efficiently manage late changes, keeping all suppliers informed.

Deliver real-time support to guests and tour managers.

Effectively resolve holiday disruptions.

Actively support in crisis management and 24 hours on call support

Manage transport and accommodation logistics, keeping suppliers informed.

Maintain professionalism to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Conduct product familiarisation trips to evaluate and enhance tour quality.

Offer feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on operational insights.

Monitor and communicate FCDO updates impacting tours.

Collaborate cross-departmentally, upholding Riviera Values.
Supplier Management

Accurately manage invoicing and reconciliation.

Maintain financial records and support budget tracking.
Content & Documentation

Develop and update operational content for internal and external use.

Ensure clarity and accuracy in guest documentation.
Skills & Experience

Excellent communication across departments, with guests, suppliers and Cruise Directors

Languages preferred but not essential.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Proven experience in customer service or travel operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications

This is 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern between 7am–7pm Monday to Friday. You will also be required to participate in an on call rota, providing backup support to the Night Duty Officer from 7:00pm to 7:00am for approximately 1 week in every 20 weeks.
