Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for both customers and staff. You will ensure that our apartments and rooms remain a hygienic and pleasant space, supporting our mission to provide excellent service in a spotless setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the apartments, including dining spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, and entryways
- Use eco-friendly cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures throughout the day
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to promote sustainability efforts
- Monitor bookings and work with other staff members to ensure that all apartments are cleaned and ready for visitors.
- Ironing and laundry
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout shifts - all apartments and rooms are up stairs.
- Driving licence - due to the unreliability of public transport to our semi-rural location, this role does require a drivers licence or proof of a reliable commute.
Hours
This is a part-time position
Shifts will typically be between 10am and 3pm - making it ideal for working parents or those with evening commitments.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their schedule and hours due to the changeability of holiday bookings throughout the year.
Weekly hours will vary depending on the amount of bookings that we have, and will be determined on a weekly rota.
The successful candidate must be able to appreciate that during the summer and other holiday periods, our apartments are incredibly busy. We will need someone dependable that can be readily available to help our team more frequently than in off-peak seasons, where hours may be more minimal.
Wages
£15.00 per hour
