As Business Manager to the CTO, you'll be a trusted partner at the heart of the Technology leadership team, driving focus, alignment and execution across a complex, fast-moving function.
Combining the commercial and operational aspects of a Business Manager role with many of the responsibilities typically associated with a Chief of Staff, you'll help translate strategy into action, keep priorities on track, and ensure leadership decisions are delivered. You'll provide the insight, governance and challenge needed to drive results, while acting as a key link between the CTO, leadership team and wider business.
From preparing Board-level materials and executive updates to coordinating strategic initiatives and leadership activities, you'll create the structure that enables the CTO and wider Technology leadership team to operate at their best.

What you'll be doing
Working closely with the CTO and Technology leadership team, you'll:
Partner with the CTO to manage priorities, drive strategic initiatives and support key business decisions.
Bring structure and rigour to leadership team governance, ensuring actions, decisions and commitments are tracked through to completion.
Coordinate leadership meetings, preparing agendas and briefing materials, and maintaining visibility of key risks, dependencies and blockers.
Produce high-quality Board, Executive and investor-ready presentations, reports and updates.
Turn complex technology, platform and engineering information into clear, concise and commercially relevant communications.
Manage key communications on behalf of the CTO, including inbox prioritisation, briefing preparation and stakeholder engagement.
Build strong relationships across Technology and the wider business to improve collaboration, alignment and delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve how the Technology leadership team operates, communicates and executes against its objectives.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Experience supporting senior executives in a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, EA, Programme Manager or similar role.
Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate strategy into action.
Experience producing high-quality Board, Executive or investor-facing materials.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence senior leaders.
Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential matters.
Experience operating within a technology, software, SaaS, engineering or product-led environment.
An understanding of technology delivery, roadmaps, governance and cross-functional dependencies.
Experience supporting large-scale leadership teams, transformation programmes or high-growth organisations.
