Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive HR Administrator to join our collaborative team and support the smooth operation of our human resources function. In this varied role, you will manage day-to-day HR queries through to resolution, assist with recruitment across departments, and ensure accurate employee records while strictly maintaining data protection standards. You will play a key part in inbox management, task prioritisation, and workforce coordination to help the wider business run effectively.
Key Duties
- Handle routine HR transactional queries promptly and professionally through to completion.
- Support departments with effective recruitment activities and onboarding administration.
- Process and maintain accurate employee records across the full employee lifecycle, including Learning and Development administration.
- Protect personal data at all times, ensuring strict adherence to GDPR guidelines across all documents and processes.
- Manage group inboxes efficiently, prioritizing incoming requests and task actions.
- Assist with resource allocation and team rotation to ensure support is delivered where it is needed most.
- Gather, interpret, and present HR data, identifying key trends, insights, and practical solutions.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Apply a sound understanding of organisation pension schemes and relevant operational rules.
- Coordinate administrative tasks and small projects to support wider organizational goals.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working within a fast-paced administrative environment and managing high-volume shared inboxes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service focus.
- Proven ability to prioritize workloads, manage deadlines, and exercise good time management.
- A solid awareness of general HR functions, processes, and policies.
- Strong organizational and project co-ordination skills with high attention to detail.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (desirable).
- Previous experience within a recruitment environment (desirable).
