Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated CQC Registered Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of care professionals. A strong background in senior care, dementia care, and management within assisted living or nursing home environments is essential. Duties
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalised care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, including specialised dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring safety and accuracy in line with legal requirements.
- Supervise and support staff members, fostering a culture of professional development, teamwork, and high standards of care.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold service excellence.
- Liaise with residents’ families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery.
- Ensure all staff are trained appropriately in areas such as dementia care, medication management, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead on compliance inspections and prepare reports for CQC assessments.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for residents and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management, ideally within a senior or dementia care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards governing adult social care services.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in a care environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassionate approach to resident care with a focus on dignity and quality of life.
- Relevant qualifications in nursing or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care).
- Experience in developing personalised care plans, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care strategies.
- Ability to lead by example whilst fostering a positive team culture centred on continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills to liaise confidently with residents, families, staff, and external bodies.

Pay: £30,581.85-£57,351.89 per year
