We are seeking a reliable and professional delivery driver to join our team of EARLY MORNING 2 am to 6am.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations, maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our logistics operations with efficiency and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations within the scheduled timeframe
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary proof of delivery when required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with vehicles or commercial driving experience
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating vehicles.
- Have access to own car or van
- Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently under minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning
- Physical fitness to lift heavy items when necessary and perform manual handling tasks effectively
Pay: £30.00-£100.00 per day
