Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall presentation and safety of our facilities. A valid driving licence and excellent communication skills are desirable to facilitate smooth operations and customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Restock supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites if required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
