We are seeking energetic and dedicated Strong Room Managers or Leads to oversee the safety, organization, and smooth operation of our specialized childcare spaces. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team to ensure that all activities within the Strong Room are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with childcare standards. Your leadership will foster a positive environment where children can thrive, and staff can perform at their best. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of childcare professionals, ensuring high standards of care and safety are maintained at all times
- Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and security of the Strong Room to ensure it is welcoming and hazard-free for children and staff
- Coordinate daily activities, including child engagement sessions, educational programs, and play-based learning experiences
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, health and safety protocols, and licensing requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members, parents, and external partners to provide updates on children’s progress and room operations
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for staff members to promote professional growth
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of childcare services provided within the Strong Room
Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience in a childcare setting or nursery environment
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly in early childhood education or nursery roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with confidence and clarity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Childcare qualifications or certifications relevant to early childhood development preferred
- Valid driving license is advantageous for transportation or outreach activities when required

Pay: £25,420.00-£33,000.00 per year
