Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chef to lead culinary operations at our esteemed establishment in. The successful candidate will oversee kitchen activities, ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, and mentor junior staff. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
- Lead the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations.
- Oversee stock control, ordering supplies, and managing inventory to minimise waste and optimise costs.
- Ensure timely delivery of meals during service hours while maintaining quality control.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong understanding of diverse cuisines and techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Previous restaurant experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities as a senior team member or head chef.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and collaboration.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
