Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygienic standards are met
- Maintain organisation and safety of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow specific cleaning schedules and instructions provided by supervisors
- Ensure all areas are presentable, sanitised, and free of clutter at all times
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or window washing when required
- Respond promptly to any additional cleaning requests or urgent situations
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is desirable
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and staff
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking (for hospitality roles) and experience in commercial or hotel cleaning environments
