“Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and valued. That starts with you.”
Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity to use your skills to help children feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive?
We are looking for a dedicated Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Support Worker to join a passionate team providing therapeutic and compassionate support to children in their day-to-day lives.
This welcoming, family-like residential home offers a warm, safe environment for children ages 11-18 to grow and thrive. The children within the home have histories of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) such as neglect, abuse, and complex trauma, and require consistent, patient, and trauma-informed support from dependable individuals who can provide a structured life and help them feel understood and valued. Through gentle guidance, building positive relationships, and creating a stable home environment, staff play a vital role in helping each young person build trust, develop emotional resilience, and rediscover a sense of belonging.
By utilising therapeutic methods of care, such as PACE and Therapeutic Parenting, you will support children to feel emotionally regulated through playful, accepting, curious, and empathetic responses, helping them make sense of their experiences, build secure attachments, and develop trust in the adults around them.
As a Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Support Worker, your role will be pivotal in maintaining a nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive by supporting their daily routines, meeting their emotional needs, and encouraging the development of essential life skills that foster independence. You will also be responsible for maintaining clear and accurate records, conducting handovers, liaising with external professionals, and supporting the smooth operation of shifts, all under the guidance of the Senior team.
