At Stone Fired, we offer authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, freshly prepared pasta, and a range of delicious starters, sides, and desserts for takeaway and delivery. This is a varied role that combines front-of-house customer service with kitchen support duties. As a member of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service and welcoming customers into the store
- Taking customer orders accurately in person and over the telephone
- Processing payments and handling customer enquiries
- Ensuring orders are prepared, checked, and dispatched accurately
- Operating the fryer and preparing a variety of sides and starter items in accordance with company procedures
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen support duties when required
- Carrying out kitchen porter (KP) duties, including washing up, cleaning equipment, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and general housekeeping duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional working environment
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous hospitality, takeaway, kitchen, fryer, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
