Care Assistant / Senior Care Assistant / Care Coordinator
Location: Derby West & Central – DE1, DE3, DE22 & DE23
Pay: £13.00 per hour + mileage
Hours: Flexible shifts across mornings, lunchtimes, teatimes, evenings and weekends
Contract: Fixed Term contract & Permanent, Full Time & Part Time

We are working with an organisation who is looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified care professionals to join our growing domiciliary care team across Derby West and Central.
The work is centred around DE1, DE3, DE22 and DE23, so candidates living in or close to these areas are ideally placed for the role.

What we're looking for. You will ideally have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience within health or social care
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Good communication skills
- A reliable and responsible approach to work
- The ability to work independently while being part of a wider team
- A willingness to continue learning and developing
- A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strongly preferred, as our care calls cover multiple areas of Derby.
Working patterns
- Mornings | Lunchtimes | Teatimes | Evenings
- Weekend work is included on a rota.
We understand that people have commitments outside of work, so we try to build rounds around our people rather than expecting total availability.

Key Responsibilities
- As a Care Assistant / Senior Care Assistant, your duties will include:
- Providing person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes
- Supporting with personal care, including washing, dressing and continence care where required
- Supporting with meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment
- Helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity and choice
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Following individual care plans and reporting any changes or concerns
- Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Completing accurate care records and documentation
