Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Factory Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting production processes, handling assembly tasks, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic industrial setting, with paid positions available for both week and weekend applicants.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Pack products on the assembly lines based on customer specification
·Move completed boxes of products on to pallets following customer specification
·Review and assess products for quality, ensuring correct escalation procedure is followed for any defects
·Use the metal detector on necessary products to ensure the product adheres to customer specification
·Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout production
·Adhere to all health and safety policies
Experience
- Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding machinery operations.
- Familiarity with assembly processes is beneficial.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy industrial setting. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities for skill development and career progression within the company.
Working Pattern:
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 3 shift rotations of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am.
23 hours, Saturday and Sunday, Day shift 6am - 6pm or Night Shift 6pm - 6am
Pay: £13.43-£16.08 per hour
