We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable Front of House Team Member to join our FOH team.
Main Duties Include:
General all-round Front of House duties — welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and running tables with a friendly, efficient approach.
Ensuring customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Ensure total guest satisfaction is achieved.
Provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations.
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in the cafe-bistro at all times, including dining areas, outside areas, and toilets.
Ensure that all guests are asked about allergies and intolerances, and relay these to the kitchen and other front of house team members.
Operating the POS system, accurately handling cash/card transactions, and managing table turnovers efficiently during busy periods.
Summary
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring seamless floor operations and guest hospitality. Reporting to the owners, your core skills in hospitality service and guest interaction will ensure a high-quality experience for our guests. You will also utilize your premium skills in food safety and allergen awareness to maintain high health and safety standards. With relevant skills in food delivery, basic maths, and time management, you will contribute to a smooth and efficient operation in our vibrant café setting. Qualifications
Front of House or waitstaff experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on serving guests (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and allergen protocols.
Skills in basic math and confidence operating a POS system for handling transactions.
Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume rush periods and multitask effectively.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a warm, positive attitude.
This position is for 25-28 hours per week, over 5 days
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
