Job Summary:
We are seeking a Knitwear Product Developer to manage the development of knitwear collections from concept to production, ensuring high-quality products that meet design, commercial, and customer expectations. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong product development and sourcing experience.
What you'll do:
- Manage knitwear product development from concept through production.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams.
- Develop product specifications and technical packs.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and delivery.
- Monitor product timelines, costing, and sample approvals.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and process improvements.
- Ensure products meet quality, compliance, and commercial standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in knitwear, apparel product development, fashion, or garment manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of knitwear construction, fabrics, and production processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
- Experience with PLM systems or garment production software is an advantage.
