Job Specification:
We are seeking a confident and experienced cleaner to join our current team of cleaners.
As a school cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within your designated area. Consisting of classroom, toilets and communal areas, duties to include but not limited to:
- Wiping school desks and furniture
- Dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet areas
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing all waste to designated area
- Assisting with deep cleans during holiday periods as and when required
- Any other cleaning activities required from the school
Key Skills:
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual with a flexible approach to work
- Able to manage time effectively
- Reasonable level of fitness to ensure all manual cleaning activities can be completed
- Compliance to health and safety standards
Enhanced DBS check is required for this role, this can be applied for through Kent Gurkha Ltd upon appointment.
