Cleaning Operative
Required for September start. Experience of working as a cleaner preferred but not essential as training can be given. General cleaning duties throughout the day across the school, primarily visiting toilets, staff areas and corridors. During the holidays, there is a deep clean and cleaners are directed to other areas within the school.
20 hours per week, full year, 4 hours per day across 5 days. The hours each day must span break and lunchtime. Grade AB SCP 2 £24,413 per annum, pro rata. Actual salary £13,196 per annum. During school holidays hours are condensed for cleaners to complete their hours across less days with the school open 8am-4pm.
Holidays will not be allowed during term time, unless under exceptional and approved circumstances.
Our ambitious school is based in the easily accessible market town of Thirsk which lies very close to the A1(M), A19 and mainline rail links, between two beautiful National Parks.
