Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills, a calm demeanour, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Duties
- Monitor entry points and conduct thorough checks to verify identification and prevent unauthorised access
- Conduct regular patrols around the venue to identify potential security risks or suspicious behaviour
- Enforce venue policies by managing crowd control and handling disruptive behaviour professionally
- Assist with loss prevention by identifying theft or unauthorised activities and responding appropriately
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid when necessary
- Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for future reference
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention roles is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic first aid procedures confidently and effectively
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in recognising suspicious activity or potential hazards
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A valid security licence or certification is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training can be arranged for suitable candidates
