Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art, excellent artistic skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating customised tattoo designs, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and contributing to the studio's welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in management, social media management, or customer service is advantageous, as is familiarity with front desk operations, eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, guest services, makeup application, hospitality, upselling techniques, barbering, and strong communication skills.
Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and provide expert advice on design and placement
- Prepare custom tattoo designs based on client specifications and artistic expertise
- Operate tattoo equipment safely and hygienically in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of tools and workspaces at all times
- Manage appointment scheduling and client records efficiently
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service and personalised care
- Promote the studio’s services via social media platforms to attract new clients and showcase artwork
- Assist with studio management tasks including front desk responsibilities and guest services
- Upsell additional services such as aftercare products or complementary treatments like eyelash extensions or makeup application when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards while fostering a welcoming environment for clients
Skills
- Artistic talent with a strong portfolio of tattoo work demonstrating versatility and creativity
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
- Experience in management or social media management is desirable but not essential
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a positive client experience
- Competence in front desk operations and guest services within a hospitality setting
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, makeup application, or barbering is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proven ability in upselling services tactfully to enhance client satisfaction and studio revenue
- Organised with good time-management skills to handle appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Pay: £200.00-£700.00 per week
