We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team on a major refurbishment project converting an industrial estate into 48 residential apartments on behalf of L&C Refurb Ltd.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team working on a long-term project. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of site duties to ensure work progresses safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- General site labouring and assisting tradespeople.
- Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Moving and handling materials and equipment.
- Assisting with demolition, strip-out, and refurbishment works.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Following instructions from the Site Manager and supervisors.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Working at Height certificate.
- Manual Handling certificate.
- Asbestos Awareness certificate.
- Good understanding of site health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential:
- First Aid at Work.
- PASMA.
- IPAF.
- Face Fit Certificate.
- Abrasive Wheels.
- CAT & Genny.
- Fire Marshal.
- Banksman/Traffic Marshal.
- Any additional construction-related qualifications or tickets will be considered.
