Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Nail Technician to operate independently within our salon environment. As a self-employed professional, you will provide high-quality nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised nail treatments. Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Apply makeup services as requested by clients to enhance their overall look.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Build and retain a loyal client base through excellent customer service and personalised treatments.
- Manage appointments efficiently whilst ensuring punctuality and organisation.
- Offer advice on nail care products and aftercare to clients for optimal results.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, makeup application, and beauty techniques.
- Handle client consultations professionally, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with relevant qualifications or certifications.
- Ability to perform makeup application alongside nail services is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients.
- Self-motivated with organisational skills to manage your own appointments and client records.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within beauty therapy environments.
- Ability to work independently as a self-employed professional while maintaining high standards of service quality.
