Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently using accounting software Xero.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure organisational financial health.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies through meticulous record-keeping and documentation.
- Assist in the optimisation of financial processes and systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and facilitate the resolution of any discrepancies or issues identified.
- Support management in strategic planning by providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations.
Skills
- Proven expertise in financial accounting, with a recognised qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
- Extensive experience working with Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes and overall financial management tasks.
