Job Overview
We are seeking a Café Team Member to join us at our stunning Osborne Café overlooking the Severn in Clevedon . This role involves preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming community- focused environment. Previous experience in a café or food service environment is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks such as milkshakes.
- Opening and Closing the café (excluding cashing up)
- Assist customers with menu selections and take orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using cash or card transactions.
- Restock supplies and organise stock areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
We are looking for someone to work 3 shifts a week, as well as cover holidays when required.
Pay: £13.90 per hour
