Registered Mental Health Nurse (Nights)

Key responsibilities:
- Use experience & knowledge to provide high quality care to those experiencing acute, severe or enduring mental illness.
- Promote safety, recovery, and dignity.
- Advanced clinical assessment skills, therapeutic communication, and ability to manage crisis intervention situations.
- Conduct ongoing risk assessments such as aggression, self-harm absconding and vulnerability.
- Maintain a structured, safe environment.
- Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, OTS, social workers and key workers
Required skills:
- Mental health experience
- Strong therapeutic communication skills and ability to adapt to varying complex needs.
- Competence dealing with crisis intervention.
- Ability to work under pressure with changing high acuity.
- Sound knowledge of Mental health legislation.
Required experience:
- Registered NMC: 1 year
- Practice: Minimum of 1 year UK/Irish experience
