About the Role
My Education Online (MEO) is a British-curriculum online school built around four pillars: emotional intelligence, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a Computer Science Teacher who sees teaching not as content delivery, but as a form of mentorship and stewardship.
This is a fully remote, full-time position teaching Computer Science to students following the British Curriculum. Beyond subject delivery, you will help students become logical, ethical, and creative thinkers who can question, reason, and build responsibly with technology.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum
- Teach programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy across relevant key stages
- Identify and support students' learning struggles proactively, not just reactively
- Naturally embed emotional intelligence, financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and responsible AI use into lessons
- Track student progress and provide regular, meaningful feedback
- Collaborate with a global team of educators in a virtual classroom environment
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching the British Curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science (programming, computational thinking, digital skills)
- Excellent communication skills and confidence with online teaching platforms
- A genuine, long-term view of teaching as mentorship, not a transitional role
