Job description
Our Chair of Committee and Manager are seeking to appoint a passionate, fun Level 3 practitioner for our charity run preschool. This must be a 'full and relevant' qualification, please check the list below.

There will be a minimum of 27 hours per week to start with based in both nursery sessions and wraparound club sessions. There is also the possibility of extra hours if desired within the nursery session times when sickness cover is needed.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, bring fun to their role, be hard-working and able to think on their feet and have a child-led approach to learning through play.
They must have high expectations of themselves and the children in their care and have an understanding of additional needs and how young children learn.
They must have good literacy skills and be able to report a child's celebrations on paper if needed.
It is vital that the ideal candidate is able to work with a range of families and professionals in partnership and implement advice given to best support the child.
The successful candidate must be well organised and have previous experience of working in an Early Years setting. We would also highly value a candidate with peadiatric first aid qualifications and safeguarding training. However, training can be sourced.
We would expect that you take a full role in the life of the pre-school, supporting the manager and attending meetings and training when required.
