Yum Yum Hartlepool is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and safely across Hartlepool and surrounding areas. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and complete, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times or any issues that may arise
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during each shift
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or retail sectors
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving and knowledge of local routes in Hartlepool
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety at all times
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
