On behalf of the Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Pay, Reward and Benefits Advisor x 3 (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract based remotely.

As a Pay, Reward and Benefits Advisor, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Provide advice and support on pay, reward and benefits policies, processes and queries.
- Support the development and maintenance of competitive pay and benefits packages in line with legislation, organisational policies and best practice.
- Monitor salary structures, pay arrangements and benefits, ensuring information and records are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain and update personnel, pay and benefits records and systems.
- Prepare and distribute accurate pay, reward and benefits information to employees.
- Support the delivery of salary, benefits and reward services, projects and interventions.
- Build effective relationships with external benefits providers and relevant stakeholders.
- Support engagement and negotiations with trade unions, service providers and other stakeholders where required.
- Provide accurate and timely data and analysis to support pay and reward decisions.
- Use data and evidence to identify trends, risks and opportunities and make recommendations.
- Support the development and implementation of Organisation Design and Organisation Development initiatives.
- Ensure pay and benefits activity complies with relevant legislation, policies and organisational requirements.
Essential:
- Experience working in a pay, reward, compensation or benefits environment.
- Good understanding of pay, reward and benefits principles, policies and processes.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and best practice.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret and use HR and reward data.
- Experience maintaining accurate employee, pay or benefits records and HR systems.
- Ability to provide clear and effective advice to employees, managers and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to identify risks and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience working collaboratively with external providers and internal stakeholders.
Desirable:
- CIPD qualification or relevant HR/reward qualification.
- Experience working with trade unions on pay and reward matters.
- Experience managing or supporting employee benefits providers.
- Experience with HR information systems and reward/payroll data.
- Experience supporting Organisation Design or Organisation Development activity.
- Experience working within a complex or regulated organisation.
