Actually Social Gals is a social calendar that actually adds more to your life, and we are looking for some fun, friendly and confident people to join our growing team of London event hosts!
From brunches and trivia to hikes, walks, creative workshops and activity nights, you’ll help create the kind of events people can walk into alone and leave with new friends.
ABOUT US
Actually Social Gals is part of LESGO Technology UK, one of the fastest-growing female and queer-focused social-tech and events businesses globally.
In just over a year, we’ve grown from one club, around 200 members, no staff and working from a bedroom to 16 clubs, three brands, 5,000+ members, 55+ event hosts, a five-person corporate team and a new global HQ in Melbourne CBD, all while expanding across Australia and the UK.
Now, we’re growing our London community and looking for some brilliant new hosts to join the fun.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
- Welcoming members, making introductions and ensuring everyone feels comfortable
- Keeping the conversation and good energy flowing throughout the event
- Liaising with the venue on arrival and helping the night run smoothly
- Capturing a few fun photos and videos to share with our wider community
- Making sure nobody is left awkwardly standing alone
ABOUT YOU
You’re fun, outgoing and love bringing people together. You can confidently start a conversation, notice when someone needs help settling in and make different personalities feel included.
You’ll also be reliable, organised, comfortable capturing casual phone content and available for occasional evening and weekend events across London.
Previous events, hospitality or customer-facing experience is a bonus, but your personality and ability to make people feel welcome matter most.
THE DETAILS
You’ll be paid £35 for each two-hour event. We typically run 2–4 London events each week, and you can put your hand up for the ones that work with your schedule.
This is a flexible, self-employed opportunity, so events and hours aren’t guaranteed.

You’ll also receive your own Actually Social Gals membership, giving you the chance to attend our events as a member whenever you’re not hosting.
HOW TO APPLY
Send us your CV along with a short introduction telling us a little about yourself, why you’d make a great host and your general evening and weekend availability. To stand out, we would love for you to shows us who you are - send us a video, share your favourite TikTok, give us a little personality, share your socials, anything, this is your moment.
You’ll need to be able to travel to venues across London and have the right to work in the UK.
Pay: £17.50 per hour
