Security Officer
Location: Diageo Cluny Bond, Begg Farm, near Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland, KY2 6AR
Salary: £13.95 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights, 06:00–18:00, 12-hour shifts
About the Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Diageo Cluny Bond. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a prestigious corporate site, helping to provide a safe and secure environment for colleagues, visitors and the client.
You'll play a key role in protecting people, property and assets while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest security standards.
What you'll do

Provide a visible security presence across the site.

Carry out regular patrols and monitor access and egress points.

Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and security alarms.

Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.

Operate security systems including CCTV and access control where required.

Conduct vehicle and visitor checks in line with site procedures.

Deliver excellent customer service to employees, contractors and visitors.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security procedures.
What you'll bring
-
A valid SIA Licence (essential).

Previous security experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain BS7858 screening.

Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years (site vehicle provided).

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

First Aid qualification is desirable.
