We are seeking an exceptional Care Home Manager to take the helm of our dedicated team.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a service that is already performing well, allowing you the creative freedom to focus on what matters most: enriching the lives of our residents.
The Role
As our Registered Manager, you will be the heartbeat of St Ninians. You will balance operational compliance with compassionate leadership. You won't just be managing a rota; you will be shaping the culture of care.

- Strategic Compliance: Act as a Co-Signatory and Authorising Officer for the Home Office Sponsored Worker Scheme. You help will manage the sponsorship management system (SMS), ensuring full compliance with UKVI regulations regarding our international staff.
- Clinical & Care Oversight: Oversee the delivery of personalised care plans, medication administration, and dementia support, ensuring every resident feels safe, valued, and understood.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a dedicated care team. You will drive staff development, fostering a supportive environment where staff retention is high.
- Community Engagement: Build trusted relationships with residents’ families, GPs, and external health professionals, acting as the face of St Ninians.
About You
We are looking for more than just a qualification; we are looking for a leader with emotional intelligence and business acumen.
- Experience: A strong track record in a leadership role within a care home setting (Deputy Managers ready to step up are welcome to apply).
- Qualifications: You must hold a recognised professional qualification in health or social care (e.g., SVQ Level 4, Registered Manager’s Award, or nursing qualification).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards in Scotland and experience with dementia care.
- Attributes: You are approachable, resilient, and organized. You have a "door is always open" policy for your team and families.
