Responsibilities

- Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records to support individual learning plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's achievements and any concerns.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Lead by example in demonstrating positive behavior management and respectful interactions with children and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans that meet early childhood education standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members confidently.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development milestones.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports children's emotional well-being.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent).
- A clean driving license is desirable for roles involving transportation or outdoor activities.
