Job Description
Senior Structural Engineer – Bristol
We invite you to bring your talent and passion into play as you take an active role in delivering a wide range of interesting projects across the UK and internationally. If you are looking for a challenging role where you can continue to develop technically, take ownership of projects and work alongside great people, our Senior Structural Engineer position in Bristol could be a great fit.
A great place to build your career
You’ll join our Industry & Infrastructure Facilities (I&IF) team in Bristol – a growing team with a real sense of community and a strong reputation for technical excellence.
Our work spans a diverse range of sectors, including rail, aviation, energy, manufacturing, data centres and other critical infrastructure. This means you’ll have the opportunity to work on technically interesting and often complex projects, without being tied to a single sector. We work across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction.
You’ll also benefit from the wider expertise of Ramboll. Our I&IF teams work collaboratively across the UK and internationally, bringing together structural, civil, MEP, environmental, sustainability and other specialist disciplines to develop innovative and practical solutions.
Why Bristol?
We’re a relatively small regional team, which means you’ll get to know the people around you and have a genuine opportunity to make a difference. There is a strong sense of community, with a team of experienced engineers and technical specialists around you, providing opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional development.
And we like to have some fun along the way. Our Bristol social team regularly organises activities ranging from padel and other sports to pub quizzes and informal team events.
Our Bristol office is ideally located close to Temple Meads and Bristol city centre, providing excellent transport links and a convenient base in the heart of Bristol.
