We are seeking a experienced skilled Assembler to join our client’s team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience using both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a key role in the production process by accurately assembling components and finished products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards within a manufacturing environment.
BENCH TESTS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATLY
Mon-Fri, 7am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions to ensure correct assembly.
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to maintain company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance assembly processes and improve efficiency.
- Report defects or issues with components promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the capability to lift heavy items as needed during assembly tasks.
- Proactive approach to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
