In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles,, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid uk full driver’s license
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning techniques
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks involved in loading/unloading
