The Opportunity
OCU is delivering critical wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK water sector. As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead day-to-day operations across civils, mechanical and electrical works within live operational environments. If you want to take ownership of site delivery, drive safe performance and lead teams on essential infrastructure projects, this is it.

Supervise daily site activities across civil, mechanical and electrical works
- Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to deliver works safely and to programme
- Oversee installation activities including ducting, trenching, pipework and cabling
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks and safety audits
- Manage site documentation including permits, inductions and site records
- Support planning, sequencing and resource coordination on site
- Identify, report and resolve risks, defects and non-conformances
- Promote high standards of health and safety across all site activities
Essential:
- Experience in a Site Supervisor role within water, utilities or construction environments
- Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary site activities (civils, mechanical, electrical)
- Ability to manage teams, subcontractors and site operations effectively
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience working on wastewater treatment projects
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation
- Knowledge of confined spaces, deep excavation and working at height
- Bonus if you have worked within live operational environments
