Weighbridge Operative/Administrator
This is a vital operational role where accuracy, organisation and confidence are key. Combining weighbridge operations, site administration and health & safety support. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site while helping to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
Location: Farnham, Surrey.
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract
The Role
As a Weighbridge Operator, you'll coordinate vehicle movements, manage weighbridge activities and support the site's health & safety processes. You'll work closely with production, transport and site management to ensure operations run safely and efficiently.
You will ensure good customer service, greet drivers arriving on site to deliver or collect materials, check paperwork, produce accurate weighbridge tickets for every load, and maintain a high level of administration with an excellent eye for detail.
In addition, you will create, maintain and update management reports which deliver timely and accurate information direct to the management team.
Main Duties:
- Operate the site's weighbridge, accurately recording inbound and outbound vehicle movements
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing loads, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly
- Instructing drivers where to proceed and coordinating with the site team to ensure smooth operation sand that all drivers visiting the site are fully aware of the site health and safety rules
- Inspect and photograph loads where required
- Support the site's health & safety systems, ensuring records and compliance documentation are maintained
About You:
You'll ideally have:
- Strong IT and administrative skills - Previous admin or office experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and outlook with a great eye for detail
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- A knowledge of the transport or haulage industry would be an advantage
- Experience/knowledge of how a weighbridge works is ideal but not essential, but if you can bring the right qualities and are the right person for the role, we can provide full training.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 4:30pm

- Salary - Competitive
- 28 days annual leave per year (incl Bank Holidays)
