Sessional Counsellors Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit experienced self-employed sessional counsellors to run bereavement support groups for adults who have experienced significant loss.
The model is person centred, grief work focussed and professionally facilitated to ensure inclusion, boundaries, confidentiality and high ethical standards. A therapeutic space for clients to share the grief journey, to connect with community at the hardest of times.
We are seeking mature, grounded and resilient counsellors with relevant post qualification experience. You will need an understanding of group dynamics and a deep acceptance and understanding that people need to grieve, that this will present in as many ways as there are people in the group.
We are offering a precious opportunity to grow and develop your counselling practice in grief work and group therapy.
£70 per 90-minute session (and some basic admin).
Groups are located across the High Peak.
Please note this is an in person role and the successful candidate will be required to attend the sessions within the High Peak. Groups are currently run in Glossop, Buxton or Chapel-en-le-Frith.
