We’re looking for a motivated, reliable and professional Security Officer to join our in-house Security team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering a high-quality service, enjoys working as part of a team and can remain professional in a busy working environment.
Working 12 hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 0ff basis, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our colleagues, visitors and contractors.
A day in the life of a Security Officer
Reporting to the Security Manager, you’ll work as part of our dedicated in-house Security team, providing an effective, efficient and customer-focused security service to both internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day security operation of the site, responding appropriately to incidents and ensuring security procedures and standards are consistently maintained.
You’ll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and helpful service, while remaining vigilant and confident when dealing with security-related situations.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience working in a Security role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
- The ability to remain calm and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong teamwork skills, together with the ability to work independently when required.
- Good computer literacy, including a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- A self-motivated, reliable and flexible approach to work.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of security and customer service.
- An SIA licence would be advantageous.
As part of your development within the role, you’ll also receive training to become a First Aider on site, giving you the opportunity to develop additional skills that are valuable within both the Security team and the wider organisation.

You will be working from our Wrexham based site which is home to our MHRA approved sterile injectable manufacturing facility.
