Production Operative
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our team in Huddersfield. This role involves working on the filling and bagging lines, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring filling and bagging line machinery
- Handling raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks and completing production records
- Following production schedules and work instructions
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience on filling or bagging lines, or in a manufacturing/production environment, is an advantage but not essential (full training provided)
- Ability to lift and handle loads of up to 25kg as part of daily duties
- Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude
