What you'll be doing:
Protect the business's operational interests and manage relationships with critical building infrastructure systems
Serve as technical lead for Electrical and Mechanical services on a multi-building site with complex asset portfolios
Ensure all operational, planned, and reactive maintenance activities are scheduled and completed on time in accordance with statutory legislation and agreed SLA response times
Manage and operate L8 records and systems, implement permit to work systems, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (LOLER, electrical testing, fire systems, lifts, cranes, chillers, etc.)
Manage and plan contractor service and callout works, ensuring all planned and reactive tasks are completed on time
Develop, manage, and monitor employee performance against KPIs while focusing on people development and succession planning
Build strong collaborative relationships with key clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Liaise effectively with operational teams, procurement, finance, and compliance functions
Ensure team compliance with safety initiatives and actively contribute to safety targets
What we're looking for:
Engineering qualification or equivalent extensive experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of building services and M&E systems with proven ability to manage complex maintenance schedules
Demonstrated experience in contract management and supporting documentation processes
Proven track record in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and resolving complex operational problems
Responsive and supportive approach to meeting both internal and external customer needs
Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive tracking systems and manage multiple priorities
Health & Safety qualification with management experience
Ability to pass DBS/SC clearance
